New Server Wizard Server Properties Page

Use the New Server Wizard Server Properties page to specify parameters for the SAP server that you are registering. These parameters identify which version of software that the application or system is running on the SAP server. For example, if your SAP R/3 System uses SAP R/3 4.6 software, then these parameters specify that the software vendor is SAP AG and the software version is 4.6.
Note: The server properties that you enter are for informational purposes only in this release of SAS Data Surveyor for SAP.
The New Server Wizard Server Properties page contains the following items:
Major Version Number
enables you to specify the major version number of the software that your SAP System uses. For example, if your SAP R/3 System uses SAP R/3 4.6 software, then enter 4 in this field.
Minor Version Number
enables you to specify the minor version number of the software that your SAP System uses. For example, if your SAP R/3 System uses SAP R/3 4.6 software, then enter 6 in this field.
Software Version
enables you to specify the complete version number of the software that your SAP System uses. For example, if your SAP R/3 System uses SAP R/3 4.6 software, then enter 4.6 in this field.
Vendor
Enter SAP AG in this field.
