Use the
Search Metadata for String dialog box to search pre-extracted metadata
for a text string that you specify. You can also limit the search
to InfoCubes, ODS Objects, or InfoObjects, and you can make other
filtering choices, such as whether the search is case sensitive. You
can customize the search by specifying the following criteria:
-
the type of search to perform
-
whether the search is case sensitive
-
the number of search results to
return
-
which sources and fields to include
in the search
You can
also perform a subsearch by searching within a set of returned search
results, or you can clear all search criteria that you have specified
by resetting the defaults. Search results display in the next window
in the wizard.
