Viewing Data

To change values in the current data set, select 'View data  Edit' from the File pull-down menu on the main window.

If you do not want to change any values, select 'View data  Browse'.

Calculations that can be lengthy with large data sets are performed after editing but not after browsing a data set.

For both editing and browsing, the data are displayed in list format in a window (the FSVIEW window) that can be scrolled vertically (to see more observations) or horizontally (to see more variables).

These options are available only if SAS/FSP software is licensed at your site.
