To delete a data set, select File from the menu bar of the main window. Then select 'Delete' and 'Delete a data set' from the pull-down menus. A list of all existing SAS data sets (except those in selected SAS data libraries) is shown.
When you select a data set from the list, you are asked to confirm that you really want to get rid of it. If you answer 'yes', the data set is deleted. If you have used the data set with SAS/LAB software, SAS/LAB software's records and journal for the data set are also deleted.
If the data set cannot be deleted, you are informed.
