SAS/LAB software stores information on the data sets that you analyze and on your user preferences. This information is available from one SAS/LAB session to the next. Information saved to your SAS/LAB journals is also available across sessions.
For each data set that you analyze, the stored information includes its physical location, the last analysis performed on it, what the response variable was, what the factors were, and what type of model was used.
Your user preferences are also saved from one session to the next. These include color preferences, active printing devices, the columns to be displayed in your regression diagnostics table, and the like.
When you exit SAS/LAB software, information on the current data set is stored. Thus, when you reenter SAS/LAB software, your session can be set up just as it was before.
