To save or print a copy of the observations in the active data set, use the Journal menu bar item on the main window.
If you 'save' a data set listing, the observations are written to the text journal. Since the text journal can be reviewed from most SAS/LAB windows, use this option if you want to be able to review your data set from anywhere in the menu system.
If you 'print' a data set listing, the observations in the data set are printed in list format on the active printer.
If you are working with only a subset of your data (as specified by using 'Select observations' from the main window's Locals pull-down menu), only that subset is listed.
