Before joining Standard Bank Group, Jason was the head of research at Monocle Solutions, an international risk assessment and optimization company, which provides various products and consulting services by way of intellectual property. While at Monocle Solutions, Jason worked on diverse risk management implementations at both European and South African financial institutions. His interests include the regulation of financial institutions, financial stability, and the applicability of risk modeling. Jason has a master's degree in economics from the University of Stellenbosch.
