Problem Note 67919: SAS® Visual Analytics Viewer ignores custom sorting when the category is expanded in a hierarchy

SAS Visual Analytics enables you to specify a custom sort order for categories. If you use the category in a hierarchy, then the custom sort order might not be honored when you expand the category. The sort is correct in SAS® Visual Analytics Designer. There is more than one cause for this problem in SAS Visual Analytics Viewer. In this case, the problem can occur if you set the vat.enableInteractiveData property to false. To verify the value of this property and adjust it if needed, complete the following steps:
- Log on to SAS® Management Console as an administrator.
- From the Plug-ins tab, expand Application Management ► Configuration Manager ► SAS Application Infrastructure.
- Right-click Visual Analytics 7.5 and select Properties.
- In the Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
- Change the vat.enableInteractiveData property to true.
Note: If the vat.enableInteractiveData property is not listed, or if it is not set to false, then see "Other Reasons for an Incorrect Sort Order."
- Restart the web application server where SAS Visual Analytics is deployed.
