Problem Note 66879: SAS® Information Retrieval Studio fails with an error during an upgrade

SAS Information Retrieval Studio fails to configure during an upgrade if the txainfretsrv_config script cannot delete previous versions of the configuration files in Microsoft Windows operating environments.
When this problem occurs, the following error is displayed in SAS® Deployment Manager:
The following problem was encountered while configuring SAS Information Retrieval Studio for SAS: Metadata deployment failed
