In the modern version of SAS Visual Analytics Viewer, sliders might become stuck when they are updated by another control object. For example, suppose that your data source contains a data item for Month. Your report contains a drop-down list and a slider with the following conditions:

• The drop-down list filters the slider object.
• The drop-down list object is not required.
• The slider has at least one of the Set value to dynamic options enabled.

When you choose the current month in the drop-down list, the slider object is updated with the correct value. For example, you select April as the current month, and the slider updates to show 30April2018. At this point, if you clear the filter in the drop-down list in order to display all values, the slider is not updated and you cannot adjust it.
