Problem Note 59495: SAS® 9.3 and SAS® 9.4 solutions might return an error message and stop working during the licensing warning period
SAS 9.3 and SAS 9.4 solutions might stop working during the licensing warning period. You might also see an error message similar to either of the following messages:
Example 1:
You have attempted to access an application that is not licensed for use. Please contact your system administrator for more information.
Example 2:
There are no available workspaces. Contact your administrator for assistance.
Note: The error messages vary depending on the solution.
The problem occurs because of the way that SAS validates licenses in metadata via the platform’s validation service or because of how you update you license in metadata.
To address this issue, click the Hot Fix tab in this note and apply the hot fix. If applying the hot fix is not feasible, contact SAS Technical Support.
