Problem Note 57131: SAS® Data Integration Studio jobs that contain an SQL subquery lose subquery metadata after you run the Analyze and Repair Tool
SAS Data Integration Studio jobs that contain an SQL Set, Update, or Delete transformation that contains a subquery definition might lose the subquery metadata after you run the Analyze and Repair Metadata Tool in SAS® Management Console.
The loss of metadata can occur when the Analyze Metadata Tool incorrectly determines subquery metadata to be Orphaned Job Metadata. When the Repair component of the tool is run to correct the Orphaned Job Metadata, the subquery metadata is deleted, which removes the subquery definition from within the transformation.
For additional information, see SAS Note 54671: "The Orphaned Job Metadata tool might remove valid targetTransformation objects."
A workaround to this issue is not to run the Repair Metadata Tool against Orphaned Job Metadata.
