Usage Note 53006: Custom details and treatments can no longer use relative dates in SAS® Marketing Automation 6.3
In SAS Marketing Automation 6.3, custom details and treatments can no longer use relative dates (for example, Tomorrow).
Any relative dates that are used in SAS Marketing Automation 6.1_M1 migrate to SAS Marketing Automation 6.3 and remain usable, although the static date is displayed. For example, you have a custom detail with a relative date of Tomorrow. After migration, the relative date shows what appears to be a fixed date value (for example, May 21, 2014). However, the system holds a relative date, and two days later May 23, 2014 is displayed in the field.
The migrated relative dates remain effective until you attempt to change the value. After a change is made, the date becomes fixed, as custom detail relative dates are no longer available in SAS Marketing Automation 6.3.
Notes:
- For information about relative dates that are used in a SAS® Stored Process custom node, see SAS Note 55999, "Relative dates or date ranges in custom stored processes do not work in SAS® Customer Intelligence 6.3."
- As shown in the statement below, the SAS® Marketing Automation 6.3: User’s Guide and SAS® Marketing Automation 6.4: User’s Guide (available at support.sas.com/documentation/onlinedoc/ci/index.html) still reference relative dates incorrectly:
Include relative dates enables you to select a date that is relative to the current date (for example, Next week).
