Usage Note 46615: Handling SAS® Data Integration Studio Server data messages that appear in the migrate.log file
The following errors and messages might appear in your migrate.log file, even if you do not have SAS Data Integration Server or SAS® Data Integration Studio licensed or installed in your existing SAS® deployment.

These errors and messages indicate that some Custom Tree information for SAS Data Integration Studio
is being found within metadata, and that it is not at the latest version of SAS Data Integration
Studio. The SAS® Migration Utility assumes that the metadata was installed, and it needs to be
upgraded to be in a state that is appropriate for migration to the newer release of SAS software.
The Custom Tree is one of the hierarchical lists in the tree view on the SAS Data Integration
Studio desktop. It displays the objects in the default metadata repository, as well as, the
objects from any repositories on which the default repository depends. The Custom Tree enables
you to create user-defined folders that you can use to organize metadata objects in a way that
is convenient for your site.
These errors and messages can be safely ignored, and they do not indicate any problems with the SAS
migration package that is produced by the SAS Migration Utility. SAS plans to remove these messages
from the migrate.log in a future software release.
For specific details about these messages, see the Migration Web page for SAS Data Integration Studio Server Data.
