Problem Note 45587: Viewing a large HTML file created with ODS Graphics might cause Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 to terminate abnormally

Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 (IE 7) might terminate abnormally when viewing a large HTML file that was created with ODS Graphics.

This problem can occur if the IMAGEMAP=ON option is specified in the ODS GRAPHICS statement and the HTML file contains a large number of image maps. This issue is due to a problem with IE 7.

The recommended circumvention is to upgrade Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 to Version 8 or higher.

Refer to SAS Note 43505 " Large HTML files generated by SAS® might cause Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 to terminate abnormally" for information about a similar problem that can occur with IE 7 and large HTML files that are created without using ODS Graphics.
