Problem Note 44505: Signon to SAS®9 SAS/CONNECT® spawner might fail after you upgrade to z/OS 1.12 or later
After you upgrade a remote host to z/OS 1.12 or later, a SAS/CONNECT signon to a remote SAS
®9 SAS/CONNECT spawner on a z/OS system might fail. Errors such as the following occur in the client session:
ERROR: A communication subsystem partner link setup request failure has occurred.
ERROR: TCP link establishment failed.
ERROR: Remote signon to host.spawner canceled.
This problem occurs when the remote SAS
®9 SAS/CONNECT spawner under the z/OS environment is using the IBM supported
/bin/tsocmd utility. See SAS Note
