Problem Note 41596: Keys and indexes that are associated with Teradata tables are not properly registered or updated in the metadata

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Key and index definitions are not registered or updated correctly in SAS® metadata for tables that are referenced using the SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata.

If you issue a Register Tables... or Update Metadata... request within SAS® Management Console 9.2 or SAS® Data Integration Studio 4.21 for a Teradata table that has keys or indexes, these keys or indexes are not registered in the metadata.

To work around this issue, manually define the metadata for keys or indexes for the relevant tables.

  1. Open Properties on the table object.
  2. Go to the Indexes or Keys tabs and define the missing content.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

A similar issue is documented in SAS Note 42915
