Usage Note 38596: Log files that are useful when troubleshooting SAS® Stored Process Server problems and SAS® Solutions problems that are associated with this server
If your SAS® Stored Process Server is not functioning properly,
the SAS Object Spawner log file and the SAS Stored Process Server log files
are useful when troubleshooting the problem.
When running SAS® 9.2 or later, check the following log files.
- The SAS Object Spawner log file
This file is located on your SAS Stored Process Server machine at:
.../Lev1/ObjectSpawner/logs/
Check the Object Spawner log file with the most recent date.
SAS Usage Note 34893
describes how to turn on additional logging
for the SAS Object Spawner.
- The Stored Process Server log files
These files are located on your SAS Stored Process Server machine at:
.../Lev1/SASApp/StoredProcessServer/logs/
Check the three most recent SAS Stored Process Server log files (one for
each SAS Stored Process Server process). By default
there are three SAS Stored Process Server processes
(which run on ports 8611, 8621 and 8631).

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
If your SAS® Stored Process Server is not functioning properly,
the Object Spawner log file and the Stored Process Server log files
are helpful when troubleshooting the problem.
