When the Microsoft Analysis Toolpak is in use, you might encounter an incorrect cell reference in Excel when using the Analysis Toolpak features.
Although the incorrect cell reference is not directly caused by SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office, disabling or unloading it can correct the problem.
See SAS Note 16844, "Missing SAS® menu in MS Excel for SAS® Add-In for Microsoft Office," for instructions to present the COM Add-Ins menu to unload SAS for the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office.
Another workaround is to do the following with Excel open:
The problem is in the Analysis Toolpak. You are most likely to encounter the problem when it first loads, as in step 1 above. The problem does not occur on the second pass, so in step 2, the problem does not present itself in the Analysis Toolpak. You do not have to unload SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office to use this workaround.
