Documentation
Documentation for SAS/AF Software and SAS Component Language is available for Version 8 of the SAS System and SAS 9 from the following URL:

SAS OnlineDoc includes documentation for PROC BUILD, the AF and AFA commands, SAS/AF Frame Classes, and SAS Component Language.
There are several publications for SAS/AF Software available in PDF format.
Documentation of the SAS/AF Frame Classes is also available in the SAS Help and Documentation that is included in your SAS Software install. Within a BUILD session, you can easily access the help topics for each class from the Components window that displays when you edit a SAS/AF FRAME entry. To open the SAS Help and Documentation for a specific class, right-click on the class in the Components window and select "Help on class". For each class, there are links to the documentation of class attributes, class methods, and, in some cases, a usage topic entitled "Using this class".
For an introduction to application development using SAS/AF and FRAME entries, you can download a copy of Getting Started with SAS/AF and Frames in PDF format. This publication is also available from the SAS Publishing Bookstore.
For a listing of published SAS reference books, go to the SAS Publishing Bookstore. On this page, select "Complete Catalog" from the Bookstore tab at the top of the page. On the next page, to view publications specific to SAS/AF Software, select "SAS/AF" under the section entitled "Browse titles by product or solution."
SAS/AF Samples and SAS Notes
From the SAS Customer Support website, you can go to the
Samples and SAS Notes page and search for samples and SAS Notes for SAS/AF.
For example, in the search field on the right-hand portion of the page within the Sample & SAS Notes section, you can type in: AF.
This will return samples, usage notes, and problem notes for SAS/AF. You can further narrow down your search by adding more keywords in the
search field. If you wanted to see the samples and SAS Notes available for the Frame List Box Control, you could enter the following in the
search field: AF LIST BOX. You can further refine the list returned by subsetting by type using the dropdown arrow beside Type
on the "Filter Results By:" section and choosing the type of information to be returned.
