Usage Note 17105: Incomplete SAS menu in Microsoft Word using SAS Add-In for Microsoft
Office
The SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office (AMO) presents an incomplete SAS
menu in Microsoft (MS) Word. For example, the SAS menu is present but
only lists entries for MY SAS Favorites, or Manage Favorites and no
other entries are present.
If the SAS menu is present but incomplete or includes partial entries,
it is possible that the MS Word normal.dot file has become corrupted.
Take the following steps to rename normal.dot:
1. Close Microsoft Word.
2. Locate the normal.dot file associated with the current user's
windows profile (Example path to normal.dot:
C:\Documents and Settings\<userID>\Application Data\Microsoft\
Templates).
3. Rename normal.dot.
4. Invoke Microsoft Word to create a fresh normal.dot file.
See SAS Note #016844 for a similar issue in MS Excel.
