SAS High-Performance Anti-Money Laundering includes a Quality Knowledge Base, English (US). Because the English version of the Quality Knowledge Base is required, it also includes either a Quality Knowledge Base Locale or a SAS Quality Knowledge Base for Product Data in the language of choice. Both products are now included with the software order.

SAS High-Performance Anti-Money Laundering includes one of the following SAS/ACCESS engines of choice:

• SAS/ACCESS Interface to DB2
• SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC (for use with Microsoft SQL Server)
• SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle
• SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata

It also includes one of the following SAS/ACCESS engines of choice for SAS Enterprise Case Management:

• SAS/ACCESS Interface to DB2
• SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC (for use with Microsoft SQL Server)
• SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle
• SAS/ACCESS Interface to PostgreSQL

SAS Data Management Standard Server can run on z/OS, but it has some limitations related to connectivity or functionality.

SAS Data Management Data Server includes either a SAS Quality Knowledge Base Locale of choice or a Quality Knowledge Base for Product Data of choice.

SAS Data Management Data Server also includes two standard SAS/ACCESS engines of choice, and three SAS Metadata Bridges of choice.

SAS Data Quality Standard Server includes SAS Data Management Contextual Extraction Language Pack of choice. It also includes either a SAS Quality Knowledge Base Locale of choice or a Quality Knowledge Base for Product Data of choice.

Because the English version of the Quality Knowledge Base is required, it also includes either a Quality Knowledge Base Locale or a SAS Quality Knowledge Base for Product Data in the language of choice.

SAS Quality Knowledge Base Locale products are included with the software order. SAS Quality Knowledge Base for Product Data products must be downloaded from the SAS Downloads and Hotfixes site.

Note: This server is required only when the SAS Data Quality Standard Server is running on Windows 32-bit.

SAS Visual Analytics includes the following two LASR components:

• SAS Visual Analytics LASR Server Non-distributed (optional in a Distributed deployment)
• SAS Visual Analytics LASR Server Distributed

It also includes a standard SAS/ACCESS engine of choice.

We recommend installing SAS Visual Analytics on a separate machine.

SAS Solution LASR Analytic Server must be installed on the same operating system as the SAS Visual Analytics server.

SAS Solution LASR Analytic Server includes one standard SAS/ACCESS engine of choice for transactional data. It must be the same type as the one selected for SAS Visual Analytics Administration and Reporting, or it must be separately licensed.

SAS makes the following recommendations for SAS Metadata Server deployments:

• a 64-bit host system
• a dedicated machine to simplify tuning, management, and diagnostics
• multi-core server hardware because SAS Metadata Server is multi-threaded
• four or more cores for production deployments

The disk I/O performance of any server-class system should be sufficient. Memory requirements are highly dependent on the product mix and usage, but 8 GB of RAM are sufficient for most large deployments. For many deployments, 4 GB of RAM are sufficient and should be considered a minimum, unless the specific deployment is tested and verified to require less memory.

Typically, SAS High-Performance Anti-Money Laundering Mid-tiers is installed on the same machine as the Alert Generation Server.

SAS Peer Group Analysis Mid-Tier is optional but not included.

We recommend installing SAS Visual Analytics Mid-Tier on a separate machine.

When you install your SAS solution software, SAS Deployment Manager installs and configures the required web application servers and web servers.

To install these servers, select one of the supported operating systems for the middle tier.

Note: These servers cannot be installed on the z/OS or 32-bit Windows platforms.

SAS High-Performance Anti-Money Laundering supports the following databases¹:

• IBM DB2 Universal Database, Version 10.1 or higher (64-bit libraries)
• Oracle Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition, 11g and 12c^{2, 3}
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and 2012^{4, 5}
• Teradata v13.10
  

Notes:

1. It is possible to use separate databases for SAS Anti-Money Laundering and SAS Enterprise Case Management, but note that these products support different databases. Refer to the SAS Enterprise Case Management system requirements for more information about SAS Enterprise Case Management database support.
2. To leverage advanced tuning features such as bitmap indexing and data partitioning, SAS recommends that you deploy SAS High-Performance Anti-Money Laundering on Oracle Enterprise Edition instead of Oracle Standard Edition. Oracle Enterprise Edition offers features required for tuning high-volume databases. Cconsult with your Oracle licensing representative for a complete list of available features.
3. When using Oracle, install the Oracle Text option.
4. When using Microsoft SQL Server as the solution database, select SAS/ACCESS to ODBC as the access engine. 
5. When using Microsoft SQL Server as the solution database, all server tiers of the solution are expected to be installed on Windows.

SAS Data Management Standard Studio includes a SAS Data Management Contextual Extraction Language Pack of choice. It also includes either a Quality Knowledge Base Locale of choice or a SAS Quality Knowledge Base for Product Data of choice.

SAS Quality Knowledge Base Locale products are included with the software order. SAS Quality Knowledge Base for Product Data products must be downloaded from the SAS Downloads and Hotfixes site.
