The Method Tab

You can use the Method tab (Figure 20.6) to specify the degree of the polynomial used to model the data. The following options are available:

Linear

specifies a first-degree (linear) polynomial.

Quadratic

specifies a second-degree polynomial.

Cubic

specifies a third-degree polynomial.
