The MVPMONITOR Procedure

The SERIES variable uniquely identifies a series of observations in the input data set to be plotted in a control chart. You must specify a SERIES statement when the input data set contains more than one observation that has the same TIME variable value. See Example 13.1 for an illustration of how to use the SERIES statement.
