Creating New Portlets

You can create and add portlets to your portal pages at any time. You can do the following tasks:
Note: Your organization might have additional types of portlets that users can create.

Adding Predefined Portlets

A predefined portlet can be one of the following types:
  • a portlet that you created previously
  • a public portlet that is available to all users
  • a portlet that has been shared with a group of users to which you belong
Predefined portlets include the following portlets:
  • your Bookmarks portlet
  • your Stored Process Alerts portlet
  • your Publication Channel Subscriptions portlet
  • several navigator portlets
