Creating New Portlets

You can create and add portlets to your portal pages at any time. You can do the following tasks:

create a new collection portlet that contains content of your choice. For details, see the following topics:
- Create a New Collection Portlet Using the Portlet Wizard
- Create a New Collection Portlet Using Bookmarked Items
create WebDAV portlets in order to access content that is stored in a WebDAV repository. For details, see the following topics:
create a new report portlet.
create a new URL display portlet.

Note: Your organization might have additional types of portlets that users can create.

Adding Predefined Portlets

A predefined portlet can be one of the following types:

a portlet that you created previously
a public portlet that is available to all users
a portlet that has been shared with a group of users to which you belong

Predefined portlets include the following portlets:

your Bookmarks portlet
your Stored Process Alerts portlet
your Publication Channel Subscriptions portlet
several navigator portlets
