Specify Properties for the Tile Chart Viewer

To specify the properties for a tile chart viewer:
  1. On the menu bar for the viewer, click Properties.
  2. On the Chart tab of the Properties dialog box, specify the following options:
    Level of detail
    specifies the number of levels of detail. That is, the number of times that the chart is divided.
    Outlines
    specifies the appearance of the outlines around each section in the tile chart.
    From the Level drop-down list, select the level of detail whose outlines you want to change.
    From the Thickness drop-down list, select the thickness of the outlines for the selected level of detail.
    To change the color of the outlines for the selected level of detail, click the drop-down list and select a color.
  3. On the Legend tab, specify the following options:
    Show legend
    specifies whether the legend is displayed.
    Position
    specifies the location of the legend within the viewer.
    Title
    specifies a title for the legend.
    Select Show title to add the title, and then enter the title in the text field. Select the font and font size from the drop-down lists. Click Bold icon to make the title text bold, or click Italic icon to make the title text italic. To change the font color, click Color icon and select a color.
  4. When you have finished specifying the properties, click OK to return to the main Visual Data Explorer page.
