The JC command
centers the designated line of text that contains the line command based on
the left and right boundary settings.
- n

specifies the column position on which to center the designated
line of text. Follow the n argument with a space.
The JC command centers a designated line of text. Unless
you specify a numeric argument, centering is based on the current boundary
settings set by the BOUNDS command. A numeric argument overrides these boundary
settings.
Like the JL, JJL, JR, and JJR commands, the JC and JJC
commands align text.
