Configuring Application Dispatcher
After downloading the Dispatcher, you must install each of the Application Dispatcher components separately. The installation instructions can be found in the README files contained in each package. The Application Broker is packaged by itself in the broker package. The Application Server is packaged along with other SAS software components in a SAS/IntrNet Server package called inetsrv.
Application Servers are installed on the machines where SAS software is loaded, which are often, but not always, different machines from the one that hosts your Web server.
