Publishing Framework

The Publishing Framework is a consolidation of the publishing components that comprise an important function in SAS Integration Technologies.

The functions that are provided by the Publishing Framework form a manageable architecture that enables publishers to efficiently create and deliver knowledge and consumers to retrieve that knowledge within the business enterprise.

This document presents a high-level view of the Publishing Framework and gives an explanation of the publishing process. In particular, its purpose is to

• give an overview of the components
• explain how the components can be used to solve common problems
• provide other sources that contain information about components and offer focused procedures for solving business problems.
