To renew licenses for SAS Merchandise Assortment Planning, SAS Merchandise Financial Planning, or SAS^® Merchandise Allocation, complete the following instructions:

1. In the SAS/Retail/License directory, rename your existing "SAS92.xxxxx.sas" file to "SAS92.xxxxx.old". (For example, rename SAS92_xxxxx.txt to SAS92.xxxxx.sas)
2. Copy your NEW SAS License Renewal file to SAS/Retail/License and rename that file to "SAS92.xxxxx.sas".
3. Restart your SAS Merchandise Planning engines and web server to confirm that License Expired messages are no longer generated.
4. The license directory path should contain only the most current, active license file. Please move older license files to a separate folder.

Some licenses might have an optional SAS^® reporting component with their SAS Merchandise Planning products. If this is the case, you must also use the SAS^® Renew SAS Software utility to renew the SAS reporting component.
