QKB Definition Types

The data and logic in the SAS Quality Knowledge Base (QKB) are organized into a set of definitions. There are several different types of definitions in the QKB. Different types of definitions are used by SAS data management product to perform different types of data management operations.

The following list includes the types of definitions available in the QKB.

Each definition in the QKB is uniquely identified by its name. For instance, a parse definition that can be used to parse addresses might be identified simply as the Address parse definition. To use a definition, you can invoke it by name in your SAS data management product.
