Plot Area Properties

Position the mouse pointer in the Plot Area and right-click to display a context menu. On the context menu, click Plot Area Properties. IML Studio displays a dialog box containing the following tabs:

• Mosaic

This tab controls the appearance of the mosaic plots. You can set the following properties:

Layout

This option button specifies the method by which cells are formed from the X and Y variables. In the 2 way layout scheme, the X variables determine groups and the mosaic plot displays a stacked bar chart of the Y variable for each group. The N way layout scheme is only available if there are exactly two X variables.  In this layout scheme, the plot subdivides in the horizontal direction by the first X variable, then subdivides in the vertical direction by the Y variable, and finally subdivides in the horizontal direction by the second X variable.

Show labels for all tiles

This option button specifies whether each cell is labeled with the proportion it represents.

Show labels as

This option button specifies whether the tile labels display the frequency of observations or the percentage of the total number of observations.

"Other" threshold (%)

This box specifies the cutoff value (as a percentage) for determining which observations are placed into an "Others" category. A value of t means that categories with fewer than t% of the total number of observations are grouped together into a category labeled "Others".
