Global Get/Set Node

Use the Global Get/Set node to read a global variable for a process job. Then, you have the option to set the variable to another value. For more information about the tabs at upper left of this dialog, click the following links:

• Get set properties tab - Enables you to set new variables or get existing variables. When you select Set Variable, you can create a new variable by specifying values that include job variables, operators, values, and run-time values. When you select Get Variable, you can create a new variable by specifying job variables and run-time values.

In a process job, the Global Get/Set node is the only way to get string variables for nested jobs and set string variables for nested jobs. Variables on a nested job make the nested job reusable.
