DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.6: User Guide
All DataFlux Data Management Studio users must have write access to the etc folder and its subfolders in the installation directory. If you do not have write access to these folders, you might get an error such as "You do not have permission to perform this action."
The person who installs DataFlux Data Management Studio must ensure that all users of this application have write access to the resource files in the etc folder and its subfolders.
Some features, such as domain-enabled data connections, require an account on an authentication server. DataFlux Data Management Studio supports two kinds of authentication servers: DataFlux Authentication Servers and SAS Metadata Servers. Ask your administrator if you need an authentication server account.
