SAS Asset and Liability Management requires SAS Risk Stratum: Enterprise. SAS Asset and Liability Management for Banking customers with versions 5.1.2 or earlier must convert to SAS Risk Stratum in order to run this content release.

The SAS Asset and Liability Management 5.4 content package can be downloaded from the SAS Downloads page after SAS Risk Stratum: Enterprise is deployed. For more information about installation, see the SAS Asset and Liability Management 5.4: Deployment Guide.
To keep pace with changes to third-party technologies, SAS has adopted a general policy of supporting one or more baseline major versions and subsequent minor updates for each officially supported operating system. For example, if the baseline for SAS x is Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1, SAS x will also support Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 under this policy.

SAS Asset and Liability Management includes SAS Detail Data Store for Banking and SAS Risk Management for Banking Infrastructure Server.
SAS Asset and Liability Management requires SAS Risk Stratum Server, which is separately licensed.
Base SAS is included as needed with SAS Risk Stratum.
SAS Asset and Liability Management requires SAS Risk Stratum: Enterprise 7.4.
Before you start the deployment process, make sure that SAS session encoding is set to UTF-8 as the default. SAS Asset and Liability Management supports only UTF-8 encoding.

IMPORTANT If you have to change the encoding to UTF-8, you must restart all SAS services.
