Define a Connection for an SAPRFC.INI Logical Name

The SAPRFC.INI logical name connection uses the destination parameter that is defined in the SAPRFC.INI file to connect to the SAP System. The SAPRFC.INI file is the location where the destination parameters are defined by SAPGUI.
Follow these steps to define an SAPRFC.INI logical name connection:
  1. Select the SAPRFC.INI Logical Name connection type in the Connection Properties page.
  2. Click Options to display the SAPRFC.INI Logical Name Options dialog box.
  3. In the Destination field, enter the destination parameter that is defined in the SAPRFC.INI file. The destination is the logical name that the SAP LIBNAME engine uses to log in to the SAP System.
  4. Click OK in the SAPRFC.INI Logical Name Options dialog box to save the connection parameters you have entered and return to the Connection Properties page.
