Select Extraction Options Page (for ODS Objects)

The Select Extraction Options page (for ODS Objects) enables you to specify how data is extracted from a specified ODS object, where the SAS data sets that contain the extracted SAP BW metadata are saved, and a metadata folder location for the table and job metadata created by the extraction operation.
The Select Extraction Options page (for ODS Objects) contains the following items:
Extraction Options
enables you to specify how data is extracted from the ODS object you specified.
CDC Extraction
enables you to specify whether you want to use change data capture (CDC) processing in the extraction process. CDC processing enables you to extract only the data that has changed since your last extraction. Select this check box if you want to use CDC processing.
Note: This check box is enabled only if you have already selected all key fields in the specified ODS source table.
Create as SAS View
enables you to specify whether you want to create a SAS View from the ODS object you specified. Select this check box if you want to create a SAS View.
SAS Library
identifies the name and location of the ODS target library, which is the library in which you want to store the SAS data sets that contain the SAP BW data. The SAP BW data is extracted from the specified ODS object. When extracting ODS objects, only one table is extracted and a data set (or a SAS View, if the Create SAS View check box is selected) that contains the extracted data is saved in this library.
ODS target library
identifies the name of the library in which the data that is extracted from the specified ODS object is saved as SAS data sets or a SAS View.
Directory
identifies the complete path of the directory that is associated with the ODS target library.
Folder
