The Select
Extraction Options page (for ODS Objects) enables you to specify how
data is extracted from a specified ODS object, where the SAS data
sets that contain the extracted SAP BW metadata are saved, and a metadata
folder location for the table and job metadata created by the extraction operation.
The Select
Extraction Options page (for ODS Objects) contains the following items:
enables you to specify
how data is extracted from the ODS object you specified.
enables you to specify
whether you want to use change data capture (CDC) processing in the
extraction process. CDC processing enables you to extract only the
data that has changed since your last extraction. Select this check
box if you want to use CDC processing.
Note: This check
box is enabled only if you have already selected all key fields in
the specified ODS source table.
enables you to specify
whether you want to create a SAS View from the ODS object you specified.
Select this check box if you want to create a SAS View.
identifies the name
and location of the ODS target library, which
is the library in which you want to store the SAS data sets that contain
the SAP BW data. The SAP BW data is extracted from the specified ODS
object. When extracting ODS objects, only one table is extracted and
a data set (or a SAS View, if the Create SAS View check box is selected)
that contains the extracted data is saved in this library.
identifies the name
of the library in which the data that is extracted from the specified
ODS object is saved as SAS data sets or a SAS View.
identifies the complete
path of the directory that is associated with the
ODS
target library.
Click Browse to specify a metadata folder location for storing the table and
job metadata created by this extract operation.
