The OPTLSO Procedure

PERFORMANCE Statement

  • PERFORMANCE options;

The PERFORMANCE statement defines performance parameters for multithreaded and distributed computing, passes variables that describe the distributed computing environment, and requests detailed results about the performance characteristics of a SAS high-performance analytics procedure. For more information about the options available for the PERFORMANCE statement, see Chapter 4: Shared Concepts and Topics in SAS/OR 13.2 User's Guide: Mathematical Programming, and Chapter 3: Shared Concepts and Topics in Base SAS 9.4 Procedures Guide: High-Performance Procedures, Third Edition.

Note that the SAS High-Performance Optimization license is required to invoke PROC OPTLSO in distributed mode. For examples of running in distributed mode see the third program in Using External Data Sets and Johnson’s Systems of Distributions.
