DATE System Option

Specifies whether to print the date and time that a SAS program started.

Note:	This option can be restricted by a site administrator. For more information, see Restricted Options.

DATE: specifies that the date and the time that the SAS program started are printed at the top of each page of the SAS log and any output that is created by SAS.

Note:In an interactive SAS session, the date and time are noted only in the output window.
