SAS/LAB software requires the use of a small utility file for temporary storage of information while journaling or printing results. Such a file is automatically created when SAS/LAB software is first brought up. If problems are encountered in creating the file, you are prompted for the name of a file that can be used.
As one of the setup options (available from the Locals pull-down menu on the main window), you can name the file to be used for this purpose. However, it is recommended that you allow SAS/LAB software to use the default file whenever possible.
