This information does
not apply to non-distributed deployments.
For deployments that
use Teradata EDW, Greenplum DCA, or a commercial distribution of Hadoop,
such as Cloudera or Hortonworks, follow the product documentation
for the appliance or cluster.
If it is possible
to run the appliance or cluster in a degraded state, you can follow
the steps to remove the host name
from the grid.hosts file.
