The host name for the
machine to remove must be removed from the /opt/TKGrid/grid.hosts file.
(The path might be different for your deployment.)
To remove the host
name:

Log on to the
root node for the deployment as the root user or the user ID that installed the High-Performance
Analytics Environment.

Edit the /opt/TKGrid/grid.hosts file
and delete the line that includes the host name to remove. Save and
close the file.

Copy the updated grid.hosts file
to the same location on all the machines in the cluster. You can use
the simcp command to
perform this task:
/opt/TKGrid/bin/simcp /opt/TKGrid/grid.hosts /opt/TKGrid
If
your deployment uses the SAS High-Performance Computing Management Console, remove
the host name from the /etc/gridhosts file,
too.
