MEMSIZE=n | n K | n M

-
n | n K | n M
| n G
-
specifies total memory size in bytes (0-2,147,483,647),
kilobytes (0-2,097,151), megabytes (0-2047), or gigabytes (0-2).
You can specify decimal values for the number of kilobytes, megabytes, or
gigabytes. For example, to specify 33,554,432 bytes, you can use 32M, 32768K,
or 33554432.
-
hexX
-
specifies the memory size as a hexadecimal
value. You must specify the value beginning with a number (0-9), followed
by hexadecimal characters (0-9, A-F), and then followed by an
X. For example, the value 2000000x sets the memory size to 32M and a value
of 4000000x sets the memory size to 64M.
-
MIN
-
causes SAS to calculate the value of MEMSIZE=
using the formula in the following Details section.
-
MAX
-
causes SAS to calculate the value of MEMSIZE=
using the formula in the following Details section.
SAS always calculates the value of the
MEMSIZE option. The user-specified value is no longer used. The calculated
value is the amount of available REGION space (both above and below the line)
minus the value of the MEMLEAVE option. You can display the value of the MEMSIZE
option to determine the calculated
value.
