Adding Tests to the Deployment Tester

The primary input files for the SAS OQ test suite are test tables, which are stored in files with the extension .tab. These files define which tests to run, how to run the tests, and how to determine whether the tests worked correctly. You can add more SAS OQ tests to the test suite by creating new test tables or adding new tests to the existing tables. Administrators can use the AIX System Tuning test suite for SAS 9.3 Deployment Tester to optimize the performance of AIX environments. The test suite compares the AIX configuration to recommended best practices.
