Analyzing a Split-Plot Design
ADX uses a mixed model approach to analyze split-plot designs. Basic split-plot designs have two sources of error, the whole-plot error and the subplot error. A mixed model analysis for a split-plot design estimates fixed effects and compares them to the appropriate estimate of error.
