About the Webinar

Are you a college student with a visual impairment or blindness who would like to access online maps of your campus?

Are you a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) who helps students with visual impairments or blindness transition to college?

Are you an employee at a college or university who needs to create campus maps that are accessible for students with visual impairments or blindness?

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, this webinar is for you!

During this webinar, you will learn how students with visual impairments or blindness explore online campus maps in a web browser using headphones, a standard computer keyboard, and a video game controller. The webinar will explore specific scenarios that:

• Enable high school students with visual impairments or blindness to take a virtual tour of campus as they navigate the selection process.
• Enable rising freshman with visual impairments or blindness to orient themselves to campus before they arrive for their first semester.
• Enable all students with visual impairments or blindness to plan new routes of travel at the beginning of each semester.
• Enable visitors with visual impairments or blindness to navigate the campus efficiently and effectively.
