Usage Note 20862: Warning icon (!) appears next to a model in the SASĀ® Financial Management Studio Models workspace
In the SAS Financial Management Studio Models workspace, a warning indicator
(!) appears next to a model to indicate that adjustments have been
created for this model, but the results of those adjustments are not yet
reflected in the model. Either the adjustments have not yet been posted
or some other event has occurred that requires adjustments to be
re-posted.
To clear the warning from the Models workspace, select the appropriate
model and then select "Post adjustments for this model". Once the posting of
adjustments is complete, the warning message and indicator will go away.
Model status changing from OK to Warning often requires adjustments that
have already been posted to be posted again. This transition will occur
if the model has at least one adjustment definition (manual or rule)
in combination with one (or more) of the following:
- *The structure of one of the model's floating hierarchies has been
changed (includes a change to its DefaultMember).
- *A material property of a member in one of the model's floating
hierarchies has been changed. A material property is any property which
can impact the consolidation - or roll up - of results. Only those properties noted here can be
considered immaterial and do not impact the
consolidation of results: description, name.
- Base facts have been loaded or changed for one of the model's time
periods.
- Exchange rate facts have been loaded or changed for one of the
model's time periods.
- Rate facts have been loaded or changed for one of the model's

changed.
- The set of exchange rate sets associated with the model has been
changed.

- The set of pre-rule manual adjustments associated with the model has
been changed.

has been changed.

(includes re-ordering of rules).

prior-period adjustments has been changed.
- The model from which this model carries over prior-period
adjustments has entered the Warning or Error state.

*: indicates an event which triggers a validation of the model's
adjustment definitions
