Usage Note 15228: WSAECONNABORTED errors when sending email via SMTP
When you send email using the SMTP email protocol, the following error
message might appear:
ERROR: Unable to connect to SMTP server.
ERROR: connect call failed, system error is '10053 -
WSAECONNABORTED'.
This message can appear when you run the same program twice.
The problem occurs when you have installed anti-virus software that
blocks emails in one of its options and shuts down port 25.
You can resolve the problem by disabling this in the email-blocking
feature in the anti-virus software.
