Usage Note 19411: No registered SAS sessions match target info
The following error message may appear in the terminal window
when calling SAS:
No registered SAS sessions match target info
There are 2 possible causes and solutions:
1. The user's SASUSER profile catalog has become corrupted.
As a test, invoke SAS like this:
sas -sasuser /tmp
If the error does not appear, rename the profile catalog.
2. Several procedures, notably PROC IMPORT and PROC EXPORT,
were originally designed as interactive procedures but
can be run in batch mode if you specify the -NOTERMINAL
option:
sas myprogram.sas -noterminal
Specifying -NOTERMINAL on the sas command will prevent the error.
