Problem Note 13171: Passing an ORDER BY clause to the Visual Foxpro OLE DB provider using
LIBNAME engine results in cursor error
Using LIBNAME engine with SAS/ACCESS Interface to OLEDB to pass an
ORDDER BY clause to the Visual Foxpro OLE DB provider will result in the
following error:
ERROR: Cursor extended fetch error: Column does not exist.
As a workaround, use PROC SQL Pass-Through:
proc sql;
connect to oledb(provider="vfpoledb" properties=
("data source"='c:\test'));
select * from connection to oledb(select id, towncode, schlcode from
test order by id);
quit;
